What is this about?

We are doing a lot of great stuff in our schools using data that makes a difference to the achievement and outcomes for our students.

Two teachers who are enthusiastic about data – Mark Hooper, St Peter's Cambridge and Jake Wills, Kāpiti College – decided to bring school data champions together.

In April 2019, the first Data Champions Conference was run, and was an opportunity for teachers and data champions in our schools to share what we’re doing and learn from each other. The Ministry of Education is supporting this initiative. We now have an annual conference, and a google group where we share ideas.
